🔐 PQC Root CA Key Generation Ceremony
MSC Trustgate successfully conducted a secure key generation ceremony for its Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Root Certificate Authorities, establishing the root of trust for our quantum-resistant digital certificate ecosystem.
The ceremony was conducted in the highly secure Offline Room at the MSC Trustgate Data Centre, where the Root CA environment is fully isolated from external networks. It was governed by strict multi-party controls involving Key Custodians, the Key Manager and Operator, as well as Audit and Compliance Witnesses. The entire procedure was fully documented and audited. Due to stringent access controls, authorised observers witnessed the ceremony through a secure live broadcast from the MSC Trustgate.com Sdn. Bhd. office.
This important milestone established the Trustgate DS ML-DSA Root CA and Trustgate Client ML-DSA Root CA. These Root CAs will provide the trusted foundation for issuing quantum-resistant digital certificates across government, enterprise and digital identity applications—advancing Malaysia’s readiness for a secure post-quantum future.
